BIO | MANOLIS ANASTASAKOS (Greece)
Manolis Anastasakos hails from Greece and has done solo and group exhibitions all over Europe, Los Angeles, Moscow, and Japan. Manolis studied painting at the Department of Plastic and Applied Arts of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, icon painting in Buzianis Foundation in Athens and Art therapy in Greece. He studied with Emir Kusturica in Serbia as a director, he worked as a sculptor, set designer for movies, theater productions and television and has served as a curator, for many art festivals around Greece. He worked also for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 28th Olympic games in Greece. Now he works as a freelance artist in Athens. His work has earned him several international awards. He enjoys working as a mural painter and a street artist.2011 he did his third personal exhibition called 'Personhood'.
